Missed our first round of tryouts? Don’t worry – there’s still time to become part of Aqua Elite Cheer’s biggest and best season yet!

Following an incredible first round of tryouts, we are delighted to be opening a second and final opportunity for athletes to join our competitive programme for Season 5.

Whether you’re completely new to cheerleading or already have experience, we’d love to see you at our Second Round Tryouts. Our experienced coaching team will assess each athlete and place them on the team where they can thrive, develop and enjoy the season ahead.

Tryouts will take place at Chislehurst School for Girls on Saturday 2nd September 2026, from 10:30am–11:30am.

At Aqua Elite Cheer, our focus is on helping every athlete reach their full potential, not only by developing their cheerleading skills, but also by building confidence, resilience and lifelong friendships in a positive and supportive environment.

New To Tryouts?

If you’re new to cheerleading, don’t worry – our tryouts are designed to welcome athletes of all experience levels. You do not need to have competed before or have years of gymnastics experience to join Aqua Elite. Many of our athletes start their cheer journey with us as complete beginners and go on to develop the skills, confidence, and teamwork needed to compete.

Our tryouts are not about finding the “perfect” athlete on day one. They are an opportunity for our coaches to get to know you, understand your current abilities, and find the team environment where you will thrive. We look at more than just tumbling skills; we consider attitude, commitment, coachability, confidence, and a willingness to learn.

For beginners, tryouts are a great introduction to competitive cheerleading. Our experienced coaches will guide you through each stage of the process, explaining what to do and making sure everyone feels comfortable. You’ll have the chance to experience the energy of an Aqua Elite training environment, meet other cheerleaders, and discover what makes competitive cheer such an exciting sport!
