CHEERLEADING FOR 3 YEAR OLDS

Looking to introduce your little one to sports, dance, or gymnastics? Why not combine all three at Aqua Elite? We are so excited to announce our new U6 non-competitive team, Baby Rain! 

This team, offering cheerleading for 3 year olds and up, is perfectly tailored for age, ability and enjoyment. Our classes currently take place in Bromley, South East London, across various venues and local schools. Training for Baby Rain will take place each Friday 4.15-5pm, starting from Friday 6th Feb 2026. There are always opportunities to join in- you can enquire directly or keep an eye on our social media for updates!

What exactly are the benefits of cheerleading for 3 year olds? At 3 years old, children are clever enough to decide if they enjoy an activity, and it’s always good to give young children as many opportunities as possible to learn resilience, build confidence, and socialise with their peers. 

Some other key advantages include:

• Building dexterity and coordination 
• Learning about musicality 
• Learning about movement paterns
• Building up recall ability by remembering skills from week to week
• A healthy way of using up some energy!

If your child decides they like cheerleading, they can continue with Aqua all the way to age 16. Once skills and confidence have developed, we always welcome young cheerleaders to audition for our competitive teams, which give them the chance to perform at a higher level all over the country! 

This being said, we always work with each child to progress at a pace that suits them. Our classes for 3 year olds are all about experimenting and having fun in a relaxed, upbeat, although structured environment.
