CHEERLEADING SOUTH LONDON

We offer engaging cheerleading workshops and tumbling/flyer sessions in Langley, Beckenham, suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities.

• Most recent workshop ran 10am–3pm
• Activities include tumbling, stunting, choreography, and conditioning
• Children finish the day with a parent showcase
• Ideal introduction for young people interested in cheerleading

In Orpington, we provide a fun and supportive lunchtime cheerleading club for pupils at Warren Road Primary School.

• Designed to build confidence, coordination, and teamwork
• Offers pupils a relaxed introduction to cheerleading
• Open to Warren Road Primary School pupils

The above classes are all recreational- Aqua Elite is also well known for our successful competitive squads that travel up and down the country representing us. 

We currently run two competitive teams:

• Storm (ages 7–11)
• Mist (ages 8–12)

We also have Mermaids (ages 5–10), a non-competitive team designed as the next step after our beginner classes, offering a chance for progression once the fundamental skills are in place! Tryouts are held annually- contact us to hear more about when our next round of tryouts will be. 

South London has become a fantastic place for young people to get involved in cheerleading, with a growing community and more opportunities than ever before. At Aqua Elite, we’re proud to be part of that growth, offering children the chance to take part in a sport that combines athleticism, creativity and teamwork in a way few other activities can.

For children who may not feel drawn to traditional team sports like football or netball, cheerleading provides an alternative that still encourages teamwork while allowing for individual expression. This makes it especially appealing to a wide range of personalities and abilities.

Our cheerleading classes in South London help young people develop a positive, can-do attitude. Our students build self-confidence through achieving personal goals, performing, and being part of a supportive team. These mindset benefits often carry over into school and everyday life, giving cheerleading the power to help children thrive!

Children can start with beginner-friendly sessions and gradually build their skills over time, with opportunities to move into more advanced classes or even competitive teams if they choose. However, there’s no pressure to compete- many of our cheerleaders simply enjoy attending weekly sessions for fun, fitness and friends!
