CHEERLEADING FOR SCHOOLS SIDCUP
Aqua Elite Cheer is proud to brings cheerleading directly to local children through our school club program in Sidcup! We offer structured lunchtime and after-school clubs for local schools that introduce your pupils to a fun and exciting new sport! And the best thing? No previous cheerleading experience is required! Every child is welcome.
What Do Our School Clubs Look Like?
Our 45-minute sessions are varied and designed to keep children of all ages and abilities engaged.
- Learn it – fundamental cheer positions, jumps, dance and movement.
- Challenge it – tumbling, gymnastics and age-appropriate stunting.
- Practise it – putting individual skills together into routines and combinations.
- Perform it – developing confidence by working as a team and showcasing what they have learned.
Building Progress
We believe children thrive when they have something to work towards. That’s why our school clubs can include weekly themes, challenges, badges and medals, helping pupils recognise their own progress and celebrate their achievements.
At the end of term, children may also have the opportunity to take part in a special display for parents, giving them a chance to show off the skills and routines they have worked on, such as:
- Strength, flexibility and coordination
- Balance and body awareness
- Confidence and self-belief
- Communication and teamwork
- Discipline and resilience
- Friendships and a sense of belonging
Where Could Cheerleading Take Them?
For some children, the school club will simply be a fun way to try something new. For others, it could be the beginning of their cheerleading journey.
Aqua Elite offers wider recreational and competitive opportunities for children who want to continue developing their skills, giving enthusiastic pupils the chance to progress from their first school session towards more advanced training and competition.
