Non-Competitive Cheer
Is your child interested in cheerleading but not quite ready for the commitment of a competitive team? Aqua Elite is home to various non-competitive cheer teams in London & the South East, designed to give young athletes a taste of what we’re all about! All ages 3 and up are welcome, with lunchtime, after school and weekend recreational clubs available to help your child discover a brand new passion.
BABY RAIN
LEVEL: U6 Novice
AGE: 3-5 years
LOCATION: Chislehurst
TRAINING: Friday’s 4.15 – 5pm
COST: £30 per month
MERMAIDS
Level: U8 Prep
Age: 5-8 years
Location: Chislehurst
Training: Friday’s 4.15 – 6pm
Cost: £50 per month
STORM
LEVEL: U12 Prep
AGE: 7-12 years
LOCATION: Chislehurst
TRAINING: Thursday’s 5.15 – 6.45pm and Saturday’s 8.45 – 10.45am
COST: £100 per month
We also hold recreational classes in and around South East London that have a more relaxed atmosphere, focusing on learning new skills, making new friends, and having fun with a new sport.
Try Something New
Cheerleading has boomed in popularity over the last decade, mostly thanks to schools who are embracing the sport and allowing it to grow each and every year!
Aqua Elite is proud to be involved with various local schools, helping bring cheerleading to those who might not have considered it before. Both our competitive and non-competitive cheer teams train at Chislehurst School for Girls on Saturday mornings, and we also have lunchtime sessions available for students at Warren Road Primary School in Orpington.
Can I Move Into Competitive Cheer?
If your child really enjoys recreational cheer and wants to move up to a competitive level, Aqua tryouts are held every summer and give them the chance to progress. Even if they don’t make it to the competition team, we have various prep teams that help them build up the skills they need for competitive performances.
